TOPEKA (KSNT) – Some local kids are getting hands-on bike training this week.
Staff with the Capper foundation are teaching kids with special needs how to ride a bike starting from June 2-6. Staff on Monday guided participants around the floor at the Central Topeka Community Center gym.
One of the participants, Emerson Minker, said he’s excited for the finale which he didn’t experience last time.
“Mostly the finale because we didn’t do it last year,” Minker said “This is my second time out here and it was amazing.”
