MAYETTA (KSNT) – Comedian Ron White is set to host a show at a local casino in northeast Kansas later this year.
Prairie Band Casino & Resort said it is bringing White in for a show in Mayetta at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18. Tickets, which are $110, go on sale at noon on Friday, June 27.
White, known as “Tater Salad” by fans, is known for delivering witty and comedic narratives, according to the casino. He is often seen with a cigar in one hand and a glass of scotch in the other while on stage.
White got his start with comedy in 1986 and became famous in 2004 during the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, according to his biography. He is known for his support of U.S. troops and his comedy albums, such as “You Can’t Fix Stupid” and “Behavioral Problems,” which were big hits, according to Billboard.com.
