TOPEKA (KSNT) – The North Topeka Arts District (NOTO) is welcoming in a new tenant this summer which is focused on helping keep people healthy and teaching them some fighting skills.
27 News spoke with the owners of Iron Warriors Gym who are excited about their upcoming move into the NOTO area. The gym is moving into a vacant spot at 837 North Kansas Avenue.
Iron Warriors Gym is owned and operated by Daniel Harris and Erin Wilson. They say they’re ready to be a part of the NOTO community this year.
“So, we don’t have the dividing wall like we have here that separates our gym,” Harris said. “It really brings our gym to the center of attention as soon as you walk through the doors.”

Harris said he hopes the move will put the spotlight back on the gym and give it some more exposure to the Topeka community.
“First Friday art walk a lot of foot traffic coming through there and the setup, definitely more of an open space,” Harris said.
Wilson said the gym hosts Muay Thai classes which start at 5:30 p.m. with a class for kids, a fundamentals class at 6:15 p.m. and advanced classes at 7:15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
