TOPEKA (KSNT) – Kansas transportation workers will shut down an I-70 ramp in west Topeka next week for pavement patching work.
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is planning to close the westbound I-70 flyover ramp to I-470 starting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4 through to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Workers will focus on patching work during the overnight hours of the project.
Drivers will be detoured to K-4/Auburn Road, then to eastbound I-70 and back onto the I-470 exit. Drivers can follow the marked detour or use an alternate route.
