TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Police Department identified the victim in Topeka’s 14th homicide investigation of the year.
Lt. Ronnie Connell said in a press release Thursday Drew Davis, 42, of Topeka died in an Aug. 6 shooting near the 100 block of northwest Kendall Avenue.
Officers responding to the shooting located a person, later identified as Davis, suffering from life-threatening injuries. Davis was eventually pronounced deceased by medical personnel on the scene.
