TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Police Department (TPD) will be holding a community safety forum that’s open to the public later this month.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 18, the TPD will be holding a forum at Hillcrest Community Center, 1800 SE 21st St., to share public safety information to share tips and discuss ongoing police initiatives. The TPD will share current crime statistics, crime prevention tips and hear from the community about issues, concerns and ideas.

This forum is an opportunity for the public and TPD to come together, share information, and build stronger partnerships. We want to be transparent about what’s happening in our city and work collaboratively on solutions.
