TOPEKA (KSNT) – New York Times author Lisa Wingate will visit the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library to meet fans and give insights into her writing process.
Wingate is known for her novel ‘Before We Were Yours,’ which has sold more than three million copies. Wingate has received numerous awards, including the Goodreads Choice Award and the National Civics Award from Americans for More Civility.
Wingate has authored more than 30 novels and co-authored the nonfiction book ‘Before and After’ with journalist Judy Christie.

The event will include a book signing session following an hour-long moderated discussion. A selection of Wingate’s books will be available for purchase. Registration for the event opens on Sept. 2. The event begins at 7 p.m. on Oct. 14, with doors opening at 6 p.m. for registered attendees. Seating is limited so early registration is encouraged.
