TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Kansas Department of Transportation will be closing a U.S. 24/U.S. 75 ramp starting on Monday.
Starting on Sept. 8, the eastbound U.S. 24 exit ramp to northbound U.S. 75 in Topeka will temporarily close while crews work on a repair project. During the closure, a detour will take traffic to southbound U.S. 75, then to NW Lower Silver Lake Rd, and back to northbound U.S. 75, according to KDOT.
The closure is expected to last until late November, conditions permitting. KDOT says the work is necessary for the ongoing maintenance and repair work on U.S. 75.
