JUNCTION CITY (KSNT) – The Junction City Police Department (JCPD) will be holding a gun raffle during its Shop With a Cop event that starts next month.
An anonymous local donor has contributed a Ruger American .308 Winchester rifle for a raffle benefiting the Shop With A Cop program. The drawing is scheduled for early October, according to a press release from the JCPD.
The Shop With A Cop program helps children in the community during the holidays. Tickets are priced at $20 each or $100 for six and can be purchased at the JCPD located at 210 E. Ninth Street, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Isolated storm chances to start the week
Tickets are available for purchase at the Junction City Police Department, located at 210 E. 9th St., from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Payments are accepted in cash or by check made payable to Shop With A Cop.
The drawing will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Rolling Meadows Golf Course at 6514 Old Milford Road in Milford. People are encouraged to ask for Sgt. Borges, Cadin Sanner, Al Babcock, or Sgt. Olson when visiting the JCPD to purchase tickets.
Participants do not need to be present to win, but the winner must pass a background check. If the winner does not pass, a new winner will be drawn.
