TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Shawnee County Health Department (SCHD) will host a drive-through flu vaccine clinic for uninsured adults later this week.
The SCHD will be holding the no-cost flu shot drive-through at Hummer Sports Park’s East Parking Lot from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4. This year’s flu vaccine protects against three strains of the seasonal flu, according to a press release from the SCHD.
The clinic will offer vaccines to uninsured adults aged 19 and over, with the administration fee waived for this event. No appointment is necessary and participants can enter from the north side of the parking lot off of Southwest Tuffy Kellogg Drive.
