TOPEKA (KSNT) – More road work is coming to Topeka starting on Monday.
Construction will start on Southeast Sixth Avenue from Golden Avenue to Rice Road starting on Oct. 6. The four-phase project is for improvements to the roadway, the bridge over Deer Creek and stormwater utilities.
As a result, traffic will be limited to one direction both ways on Sixth Avenue. The project is expected to take until next fall.
