TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Zoo will kick off a special Halloween event for all ages this weekend.
The Topeka Zoo will be holding ‘Boo at the Zoo’ from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 25. The event will give kids the opportunity the chance to trick-or-treat around the zoo in Halloween costumes. Attendees can learn how to help orangutans and other animals through sustainably produced candy.
Sunflower Cafe & Grill will be offering an $8 meal deal, which includes a hamburger or hot dog, chips and a canned soda.

The event will be free with regular zoo admission with members getting express entry. Regular admission costs $10 for adults, $9 for seniors (65+), $8.50 for children (3-12) and will be free for children two years old and under.
