TOPEKA (KSNT) – An elementary school in Geary County is closed due to power issues.
On Friday, Oct. 24, USD 475 shared on social media that Milford Elementary will be closed due to power issues in the area. According to the post, all after-school activities have been cancelled.

USD 475 said staff are waiting with students outside the building and said the school will be contacting families about the closure.
Geary County Emergency Management says the City of Milford will be without power for the next 8-12 hours due to a fire on a pole near the electrical substation.
