What We’re Tracking
- Cold front approaching
- Small chance of rain
- Sharply colder by Sunday
Even with the cooler start, today will still feel mild, with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s, but cooler air will begin to move in by the afternoon. Gusty northwest winds will pick up, with gusts near 30 mph. A few light showers are possible ahead of a cold front before a significant temperature drop tonight into Sunday morning.

Wind chills will be in the teens and lower 20s early Sunday. Behind the front, afternoon highs will struggle to reach the upper 30s, giving us our first real taste of winter. North winds will continue to gust near 25 mph.

By Monday morning, temperatures will dip into the upper teens, expect a hard freeze. Be sure to disconnect garden hoses and protect any sensitive plants. Thankfully, the cold won’t last long, with highs rebounding into the 60s by Tuesday. The mild weather will hold through the rest of the work week.
