PITTSBURG (KSNT)- Washburn football closes the season with a win on the road.
The Ichabods (3-8) scored late in the fourth when Logan Madden connected with Henry Mohrmann for an 8-yard score to take down Missouri Southern (3-8) 29-24.
Madden threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns on the day connecting with Mohrmann for two scores and throwing one to Ty Weber. The leading receiver was Trey Harmison with 72 yards.
Cam Robinson rushed for 85 yards while Keller Hurla had 49 yards.
Topeka native J.C. Heim had 12 total tackles to lead the Ichabod defense.
Washburn finishes the season 3-8 in its first year under head coach Zach Watkins.
