TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Washburn volleyball team are MIAA regular season co-champions.
Washburn claims its first regular season title since 2013.
The Ichabods closed the season with a 2-0 weekend over No. 7 Central Oklahoma (3-1 on Friday) and Arkansas Fort-Smith (3-0 on Saturday).
Washburn finishes as co-champions with Nebraska-Kearney and Missouri Western. All three teams finished with a 13-3 mark in conference play.
The Ichabods will be the No. 3 seed at the MIAA Tournament beginning Nov. 20 in St. Joeseph, Missouri.
Washburn will take on No. 6 Central Missouri at 2:30 p.m.
