WASHINGTON COUNTY (KSNT) – State troopers report that a 21-year-old man is seriously injured following a crash in rural Washington County early Thanksgiving morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on Nov. 27 at the intersection of Heritage Road and 11th Road in Washington County. A driver in a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on Heritage Road when he lost control, entered a nearby ditch and drove through a barbed wire fence.
The KHP reports the driver, a 21-year-old from Linn, received serious injuries during the crash. First responders transported him to a local hospital for treatment.
