RILEY COUNTY (KSNT) – One person is dead and another person is injured following a crash near Manhattan on Tuesday.
The Riley County Police Department said in a social media post that both north and south directions of Pillsbury Drive/KS-177 Highway were closed due to a crash. The RCPD initially reported the crash around 11:25 a.m. on Dec. 2 in the area of mile-marker 101 or close by the Konza Prairie lookout point.
The Kansas Highway Patrol later reported that an Overland Park man died in the crash while another person was left injured. You can check out the full update here.
