TOPEKA (KSNT)- Bring your furry friends, because this weekend “Santa Paws” is coming to town!
Helping Hands Humane Society will snap pictures of your pet with Santa this coming Saturday. All pets are welcome, from dogs and cats to lizards and birds. HHHS is also offering professional nail trimmings and microchips.
“The goal is, if you have pets, to include them in photos with Santa, so it could just be your pet with Santa, if that’s what you prefer, or the whole family, and your pet with Santa,” said Emi Griess, communications coordinator at HHHS. “We have had cats come before. We would just recommend bringing them in a really secure carrier, cause there will be a lot of dogs in the room. We’ve also had bearded dragons and other kinds of pocket pets.”
You can get pictures from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 at HHHS which can be found at 5720 SW 21st St. Tickets are $15 and you can purchase them online or in-person. To learn more and to register for this event, click here.
