TOPEKA (KSNT) – Geary County Schools Superintendent Reginald Eggleston joined the 27 News Morning Show on Thursday morning to discuss key initiatives underway in USD 475, including long-term student development goals and progress on the district’s new early childhood center.
Eggleston highlighted the district’s “Portrait of a Graduate” initiative, which focuses on developing skills students need to succeed not only in the classroom, but in life beyond high school. He emphasized the importance of preparing students for college, careers and community involvement.
Eggleston also discussed ongoing efforts to gather and incorporate parent feedback. Families are encouraged to share questions and input through a QR code provided by the district, allowing administrators to better address community concerns and priorities.
