TOPEKA (KSNT) – The snow hasn’t stopped in northeast Kansas just yet. Snow fell all Saturday morning, leaving slick roads and reduced visibility as winter weather moved through northeast Kansas.
Even light snow created hazardous travel conditions, specifically on bridges, overpasses and untreated side streets. Drivers are urged to slow down, increase following distance and allow extra time for trips.
Snow continues today with brutal cold sticking around
Residents are encouraged to limit unnecessary travel, watch for changing conditions and use caution on sidewalks and driveways.
