EMPORIA (KSNT) – Emporia firefighters helped douse a fire at the Emporia Hostess plant on Monday.
The City of Emporia reports that fire crews were called just after 3:15 p.m. on Feb. 9 to the Hostess Brands Inc. plant at 1525 Industrial Rd. on reports of a fire. Firefighters arriving at the scene made entry into the plant, located the fire and extinguished it.
Emporia firefighters remain on-site investigating the situation. More information is expected to be released at a later date.
