TOPEKA (KSNT) – Calling all outdoor enthusiasts – a big event in Topeka this weekend will be showing off all sorts of equipment to get you outfitted for your next wild adventure.
The Topeka Sportsman’s Outfitter and Marine Boat, Fishing and Hunting show is now open at the Stormont Vail Events Center. Tyler Fritzsche joined the 27 News Morning Show Friday, Feb. 20 to discuss what people can expect at the event.
“Yeah, so, you know, we have a good variety of hunting, fishing gear, lots of outfitters,” Fritzsche said. “We’ve got six to seven boat lines along with Cycle Zone Powersports in Topeka that’s gonna have some jet skis there as well.”

The Sportsman’s Outfitter and Marine Boat, Fishing and Hunting Show will feature one of the biggest displays of boats for sale under one roof, according to the Stormont Vail Events Center. Attendees can shop a large selection of wake surf, fishing and pontoon boats, jet skis and more. It will be open for the following dates and times:
- Friday, Feb. 20 – 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 21 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 22 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Just absolutely amazing to see all the vendors out here, and it’s interesting to see how we can all network together and just help raise awareness for the outdoors just to be a better place for everybody,” said Mission Creek camp and retreat centers’ Sarah Shaw.
