TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka police discovered a dead body Thursday at a local truck stop and gas station.
Kimberly Qualls with the Topeka Police Department told 27 News that police were notified shortly before 12:25 p.m. on Feb. 26 about a suspicious vehicle parked at a truck stop in the 1800 block of Northwest Brickyard Road. Police arriving at the scene located the vehicle: a parked semi truck bearing the Tyson Foods logo.
Officers and crime scene investigators responding to the call located the body of an individual from within the trailer section of the semi truck. Qualls said no foul play is suspected with this death.
