TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka racing fans, mark your calendars – tickets are now on sale for the first racing event at the revamped Heartland Motorsports Park.
The International Hot Rod Association is selling tickets now for the upcoming Outlaw Nitro Series in Topeka, according to its website. This is set to be held at Darana-Heartland Motorsports Park just south of the city, a venue the IHRA purchased earlier this year.

The Outlaw Nitro Series and IHRA Small Tire Bratz Series are currently set for Thursday, Oct. 8 to Saturday, Oct. 10, according to its website. Ticket prices listed on the IHRA website are below:
- Adult general admission (one day only) – $40
- Three-day adult general admission (valid Thursday to Saturday) – $100
- Youth general admission (12 years old and under) – $0
No drivers have registered for the event in Topeka yet, according to the IHRA’s website. We have reached out to the IHRA for more information about the upcoming racing event.
The Outlaw Nitro Series will be held at multiple venues across the nation in 2026 starting on March 19 at Galot Motorsports Park in Benson, North Carolina. The IHRA purchased Heartland Motorsports Park under the company Topeka Dragway Investments, LLC at the end of 2025 from Topeka 77, LLC for an undisclosed amount of money, per information listed on the deed. Topeka 77, LLC previously acquired the park during an auction in the summer of 2024.
