TOPEKA (KSNT) – The demolition derby kicked off in Topeka Friday night. Hundreds came out to watch Capital City Carnage.
This is the 10th year for the event. There were more than 200 drivers. All of them are trying to win a huge cash prize of nearly $100,000. This event could run pretty late.
“[It’s] loud, it’s pretty crazy, and it’s a good time, kind of just sit back and enjoying ourselves,” said Dustin Ensley of Topeka Landscape. “We definitely won’t be out until 2 am with the little guy, but we are going to stay for a good time and see where it goes.”
