JEFFERSON COUNTY (KSNT) – State troopers have released the name of a person who died after a crash incident in northeast Kansas last Sunday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash victim is 20-year-old Nicholas Brull of Effingham, Atchison County. He died as the result of a UTV crash incident last weekend in Jefferson County.

State troopers responded to reports of a crash around 8:50 p.m. on March 8 at the intersection of Half Mound Road and Coal Creek Road north of Valley Falls. Troopers learned that two UTVs were traveling side-by-side at the time of the crash incident.
The KHP reports that a passenger in the rear of one UTV, later identified as Brull, exited the vehicle while it was in motion. The second UTV then hit the passenger.
