TOPEKA (KSNT) – State troopers report that a 76-year-old woman is hospitalized after a crash incident near I-70 on Tuesday afternoon in Shawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a crash at 2:46 p.m. on March 10 at the U75 Bridge over I-70. It was reported that a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox swerved to miss an animal on the roadway, causing the vehicle to strike a concrete wall and spin into a guardrail.
The driver, a 76-year-old woman from Topeka, was taken to a local hospital by medical personnel and suffered minor injuries from the crash.
