OSAGE COUNTY (KSNT) – Some AT&T users in Osage City reportedly experienced degraded cell phone service that began on Friday.
According to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office in a social media post on March 16, the department received calls about diminished cell phone service involving AT&T. Users on the social media post reported issues of bad signal and Wi-Fi being down.
An AT&T spokesperson told 27 News that wireless service was restored on March 17 at around 3 p.m. after hardware failure caused the outage.
Bret Lewis of the sheriff’s office told 27 News that the reports of degraded cell phone service began on Friday, March 13, and the issue included users on FirstNet — an AT&T broadband network for first responders.

The office stated that the service disruptions appeared to be confined to the Osage City area, and it is unknown how many people lost service or experienced service disruptions.
