TOPEKA (KSNT) – Spring break hasn’t felt very spring-like until Wednesday and students from all over are finally able to enjoy their time off outdoors.
Gage Park was extra busy on March 18 with the train rolling, the zoo open, the dog park active and, of course, the main park full. Families and friends enjoyed the fresh air and sun after a cold past couple of days in the park’s Animaland area.
“It changed from 20 degrees to like 80,” said local student Fredrick McDaniel.
“We are very excited that it is warming up, and so we can enjoy the outside weather,” said local student Via Smith.
