GEARY COUNTY (KSNT) – State troopers say three people are seriously injured after a crash involving a freightliner on Friday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a crash just before 11 a.m. on March 20 near the westbound off-ramp of I-70 at the 313 exit. A 2023 Ram came off the off-ramp at the exit and continued through an intersection before a freightliner struck the car.
The freightliner, which was pulling a grain trailer, struck the driver’s side of the car and pushed the vehicle into a parked car on the shoulder of the southbound lanes of K177.
According to KHP, three occupants, including the driver, suffered serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the freightliner suffered minor injuries.
