LYON COUNTY (KSNT) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that injured four juveniles Wednesday afternoon.
According to a press release from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and emergency crews were called around 3:15 p.m. on April 1 to the 1300 block of Highway 56 for an injury crash involving several vehicles.
First responders found a total of 12 vehicles involved at the scene, two of which were fully engulfed in flames. A North Lyon County school bus was also involved. Investigators believe there were two separate crash scenes, both likely caused by poor visibility due to smoke covering the roadway.
