TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka police report a missing older man involved in a recent silver alert has been found dead.
Lieutenant John Trimble with the Topeka Police Department said a silver alert was active for 68-year-old Kevin Remfry. Police were called at 5:45 p.m. on April 7 regarding a critical missing person report about Remfry, who was last seen in late March.

Police confirmed at 4:45 p.m. on April 8 that Remfry was located dead. The silver alert for him is now canceled. Police have notified Remfry’s family of his death.
