TOPEKA (KSNT) – A unique but familiar hot dog-shaped vehicle will be driving around Topeka later this month and stopping at three local locations.
The Oscar Meyer Wienermobile will be stopping by three of the Capital City’s Dillons Food Stores from April 16-19. The full schedule can be found below:
- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 16 at 5311 SW 22nd Pl.
- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 17 at 800 NW 25th St.
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 19 at 6829 SW 29th St.
The Wienermobile is on tour all year long, according to the Oscar Mayer website. The schedule for the vehicle is published on a rolling two months basis.
Drivers of the Wienermobile, called Hotdoggers, act as ambassadors for the company’s brand. Six of these vehicles are active across the U.S., constantly traveling to new cities for product promotions.
