TOPEKA (KSNT) – The United States Post Office (USPS) held a job fair in Topeka Tuesday in hopes of hiring some new faces.
The event gave people the chance to learn about open positions, ask questions and see what its jobs look like. A spokeswoman tells 27 News the post office provides great benefits and a diverse workspace.
“We had the postmaster here,” said strategic communications specialist Tara Jerrett. “He’s taking people in kind of bit groups and explaining to them the differences with the start times are here, how your day-to-day activities kind of flow. So, really getting that hands-on experience.”
