TOPEKA (KSNT) – Police report two people are critically injured following a crash Monday morning in central Topeka.
Kimberly Qualls with the City of Topeka said police were called at 9:40 a.m. on May 11 to the 900 block of Southwest College Avenue on reports of a crash. Police arriving at the scene found a single vehicle had struck multiple parked vehicles in the area.
Qualls said the driver and passenger inside the vehicle were taken to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Officers closed the area down for several hours to investigate the crash.
