MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Police report a Manhattan teen is seriously injured after a driver allegedly hit her Tuesday.
The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) reports the crash occurred shortly after 5:20 p.m. on Sept. 8 at the intersection of Denison Avenue and Jardine Drive. Officers arriving at the scene found the vehicle, a 2027 BMW X6, had reportedly struck a pedestrian.
The RCPD said the pedestrian, a 19-year-old Manhattan woman, had serious injuries due to the crash. Medical personnel transported her to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Police said the driver of the 2027 BMW X6 was a 27-year-old from Junction City. Law enforcement continues to investigate the crash.
