TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Little Caesars Love Kitchen stopped in Topeka on Wednesday, serving free pizza to guests at the Topeka Rescue Mission (TRM).
According to the TRM, the mobile kitchen provided lunch for about 200 individuals at the mission’s main shelter. The visit was part of the Little Caesars Love Kitchen program, which travels across the country providing meals to people experiencing hunger, homelessness and the impacts of disasters.
The Love Kitchen is a mobile pizza kitchen that has served communities nationwide for decades through partnerships with Little Caesars franchisees, company operators and volunteers.

“We are grateful to the Little Caesars Love Kitchen for coming alongside our Mission to serve our neighbors with a meal, kindness, and dignity, while bringing hope and enjoyment to those who find themselves in difficult situations,” said LaManda Cunningham, CEO of the Topeka Rescue Mission. “We hope it inspires others to consider how they, too, can help meet the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors.”

TRM leaders said the meal offered guests an opportunity to enjoy lunch while connecting with others in the community.
According to Little Caesars, the Love Kitchen program has served millions of people across the United States since its creation, bringing meals directly to communities in need.
