EMPORIA (KSNT) – Ray Baquero, president of Emporia’s Freedom Fest, stopped by the 27 News studio Monday to chat with Anchor David George about the upcoming event to honor veterans.
Baquero said this year marks the 23rd edition of Freedom Fest in Emporia. He said the festival is meant to help honor veterans and their families with a variety of events like a foot march, bicycle rides, endurance challenges and more.
