What We’re Tracking
- Mild overnight weather
- Plenty of sun
- No chance for rainfall
We’re tracking another warm evening ahead. Temperatures will only fall into the upper 70s after sunset before settling into the lower 60s by Saturday morning. Considering our average low this time of year is in the 40s, it will be another unusually warm night across northeast Kansas. A steady south wind will continue overnight, helping keep temperatures elevated.

The weekend will bring warm temperatures, with highs returning to the 80s each day under plenty of sunshine. A ridge of high pressure will settle across much of the area, helping to keep conditions dry and unseasonably warm. South winds will increase, gusting at times to around 20 mph.
Looking ahead, rain chances remain non-existent through next week, with plenty of sunshine and comfortable fall weather sticking around. Dew points come up slightly, which will create a little more humid feel to the air as we get a little less comfortable, but nothing too bad.
However, we head back into the upper 80s and lower 90s for the weekend with dry weather. There is a slight chance for showers by next Tuesday as our next storm system moves our way.
