LYON COUNTY (KSNT) – State troopers report a Paola man was seriously injured in a crash in rural Lyon County Monday.
Officials with the Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened shortly before 3:05 p.m. on Oct. 12 at the intersection of U.S. 56 Highway and K-99 Highway. The crash involved a single 2015 GMC Terrain hauling a flatbed trailer that lacked a tire.

KHP officials said the 49-year-old Paola man suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
