TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topekans are being invited to embark on ghost tours at a historic local cemetery this weekend.
The group Friends of Historic Topeka Cemetery are hosting ghost tours on Friday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 17. People are invited to take part in the tours to learn about the history of some of the Capital City’s more interesting residents from years prior.
“Step beyond the iron gates and into the shadows of one of Kansas’ oldest cemeteries, where we’ll pull back the veil on the darker side of history. On this guided tour, you’ll walk among the graves of the who’s who of Topeka – and some of its most notorious residents – murderers, victims, and scandal-makers.”
