POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY (KSNT) – A Pottawatomie County store specializing in offering locally-raised meats is shutting down permanently.
Kansas Premium Meats staff made the announcement on social media on Oct. 21. Store staff said the decision to close was not an easy one and expressed gratitude for people who have supported the shop over the years.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share some very unfortunate news. Due to a lack of business and the current state of the meat industry and economy, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close Kansas Premium Meats.”
