What We’re Tracking
- Increasing clouds
- Slowly warming
- Rain chances late weekend
Temperatures tonight will stay mild, only falling into the lower 60s before midnight and into the mid-50s by early Saturday morning. Clouds will gradually increase overnight, but most of what we’ll see are thin, wispy cirrus clouds that won’t produce any rain. Better rain chances arrive later in the forecast as moisture continues to increase.

As we head into the weekend, a few showers may develop on Sunday, but widespread rainfall is not expected at this time. Better rain chances arrive Monday behind a cold front, with the highest likelihood of rainfall across central Kansas. Cooler air will follow the front, bringing a noticeable change by Tuesday.
Behind the front, morning temperatures will fall into the 40s, while afternoon highs stay in the 60s, making it feel much more like fall across the region.
