LAWRENCE (KSNT) — A heroic effort results in a conference honor.
Kansas’ Blake Herold has been named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.
Herold blocked Baylor’s 45-yard field goal attempt that, had it been good, would have given the Bears a two-point lead with 22 seconds remaining in Saturday’s game.
That was the first block of Herold’s career, and fourth for the Jayhawks this season.
