What We’re Tracking
- Decreasing clouds
- Cooler midweek
- Much drier pattern settles in
We are looking mostly clear this evening, and we will remain clear through tonight. Winds will be out of the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will fall about 10 degrees cooler than last night, with many locations dropping into the upper 30s to lower 40s by Thursday morning.

A weak disturbance will pass through on Thursday and could bring a few light showers, but current thinking keeps most of the precipitation south of northeast Kansas as the system tracks across Oklahoma. If any rain does reach the area, it would most likely be confined to the southern counties.
Otherwise, Thursday will feature a partly cloudy sky and another cool fall day, with afternoon highs in the middle 50s. Temperatures should remain in the 50s through the end of the week.
Morning lows will continue to settle into the upper 30s and lower 40s over the next week or so. Overall, the pattern looks quiet and consistent, with very little day-to-day change expected and no major weather systems on the horizon.
