What We’re Tracking
- Cloudy tonight with drizzle
- Cool end to the week
- Much drier pattern settles in
We will see clouds roll back in tonight, leading to a mostly cloudy night. Areas of light drizzle and patchy fog are possible late tonight and into Friday morning. Temperatures will fall into the lower 40s with north winds.

Friday will start off mostly cloudy, with clouds holding strong through lunchtime before gradually clearing during the afternoon. By evening, we should become partly cloudy. High temperatures will reach the lower 50s, making Friday the coolest day of the week. Cool conditions will linger into Saturday.
A warming trend arrives by Sunday, with temperatures returning to the 60s and more sunshine. Much of next week looks mostly dry, which will be welcome news since northeast Kansas is already running above average on rainfall. In Topeka, for example, rainfall totals are more than 5 inches above normal for the year.
