What We’re Tracking
- Chilly morning
- Staying cool Saturday
- Much drier pattern settles in
Temperatures tonight will fall into the lower 40s by early Sunday morning, with a few locations dipping into the upper 30s. The sky will remain clear, and light southerly winds will continue overnight. Some low-lying areas may see patchy fog develop before sunrise.

A warming trend arrives Sunday, with more sunshine and temperatures returning to the 60s. Monday is shaping up to be the warmest day of the week, with highs climbing into the lower 70s under mostly sunny skies.
Beyond Monday, temperatures will level off with morning lows in the 40s and afternoon highs in the 60s.
Much of next week looks mainly dry, which will be welcome news since northeast Kansas is already running above average on rainfall this year. In Topeka, rainfall totals are currently more than five inches above normal, so several dry days will help the region begin to catch up on drying out.
