TOPEKA (KSNT) – Police are asking for the community’s help in finding those responsible for the theft of a law enforcement vehicle earlier this week.

The Topeka Police Department (TPD) took to social media Friday with its request for assistance in a vehicle burglary and theft investigation. Police say the incident occurred in the overnight hours of Wednesday, April 17 at the Spring Hill Suites at 2745 SW Fairlawn Avenue.

A law enforcement vehicle and equipment was stolen and burglarized during the incident. While the vehicle was later found, police are now hoping for leads from the community to find whoever was behind the incident.
