ST MARYS (KSNT) – Following last night’s storm, the city of St. Marys is going into non-emergency reporting and may issue a water boil advisory.

Around 6:50 a.m., the City of St. Marys Police and Fire Department announced they would be under non-emergency reporting for 24 hours. The departments said it was to better manage response efforts.

Additionally, the departments said the St. Marys utility department would be contacting the KDHE about issuing a water boil advisory for customers on the north side of the city.

“Power continues to be out in St. Marys,” the City of St. Marys Police and Fire Department said on Facebook. “Enough damage to electrical lines mutual aid has been contacted…should arrive by daylight.”
